Finally Made it to 6.4.6, Thoughts on team

Well, I never thought I would make it, but I finally got to 6.4.6 (took down most final bosses with CG and 20% revives). I think I have a really good roster, but don't have great skills. So, I thought I would get thoughts on what my best team would be. I'm going to be watching more videos on the Grandmaster fight and hope to tackle it this weekend. Once I complete this, I will have the ability to take a 6 star science champ to R3 (it will be Thing unless I get lucky and dup my CAIW I just got)

Here are my top 6 stars:

Here are my top 5 stars:

FYI - I'm still learning how to use Ghost effectively, and I don't Quake very well.

Thanks in advance for any advice you have!

Thanks for the tip with Professor X. That reverse controls part of the fight is what I dread the most.

All I gotta say it, there is no shame in backing out of a quest because you aren't able to beat it at the time. So if you fail, just go figure out what you need and try again. Best of luck to you friend.

    Firstly, congrats!!!
So for a team, i suggest taking the cosmic lane with two good mystics. Doom is always good, maybe double doom?
For grandmaster, doom will do good for most of the phases.
I suggest maybe having guardian in the team for block proficiency. ProfX for reverse controls., and of course, watch alll the videos possible to understand the GM fight. It is very challenging the first time so better to be prepared!
Edit, i see sym, so doom and sym will crush the cosmic lane easy.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement! It definitely wouldn't be the first time I quit a quest because I couldn't handle the final boss. I did against Mr. Sinister because I didn't check out what others said about him. I started watching YouTube videos after that! I just want to go in prepared. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot! That sounds like a good plan. I was pretty fortunate to get both Doom and sym not just once, but twice!

I'm thinking I should rank up my Prof X and go practice with him before the fight (and watch videos on playing him). If I can use him to avoid the reverse controls, that will save me a lot of revives and potions.

I am a pretty terrible player. How I ended up beating him was unit man. Cost about 2200, and what happened with me was I would keep dying and just slowly taking off health. I don't think I ever got to two wounded phases in one go. I brought a r2 Prof X, but never really used him because he would die before I could get his specials going. I eventually just kept reving my r2 Doom with boosts.

Thanks for your input. I have close to 3,000 of the free 4 hour crystals, so I'm hoping that keeps my unit spend to a minimum. I'm guessing that'll be my strategy after I have a couple of practice runs.

Well, that didn't go well. Apparently I need a bigger device or try to play with my bifocals on! I couldn't read the text well enough to know what was banned, and next thing I know BAMMM. Too many blunders and he squashed me with his L3.

Any thoughts on champs I can practice on or easy to get to fights where you have to pay attention to the text the defender is saying? I know Spider-Ham does some, so I'm thinking that I can practice against him and react to different things he says, but hoping that there is something closer to Grandmaster.

Who knows, maybe I've gone as far as the 55+ year old color-blind eyes can take me in this game, but I'm not willing to accept that yet.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions
