This map 5 torch is ridiculous, he was a nightmare before but now with the higher death pool he stupid. He either need buffet removed or bleed immunity removed

Had hard time defeating him. With 15% buffet he gains ton of health back when dexing. And blocking kills us due to ridiculous block damage. Even the Thanos boss was jacked up. With aspect of evolution it took ages to kill him timed out twice with r5 bwcv.

I managed to get him down with Ghost .. eventually .. but even that was a fight ..

Is there any "good" options for him?

I keep trying to find an incinerate immune with heal block .. but can only think of Void .. would he work ok ? has anyone tried him?

In my alliance they tried Void and got completely destroyed. Ghost sounds like a good idea...

I don't know how it is with the current Torch. But in the past Void was the answer, best if you still leave the 1% regeneration node.

We've tried everyone from Caiw, Void, Rhulk, Stealthy, Ghost, Colossus, and Warlock. Only one we've seen get any traction so far is Void. But you still take so much block damage that you'll still have to revive. Someone recommended perhaps an awakened Peni since she's incinerate immune and has heal block..but how many people have her awakened? Someone else thought perhaps Elsa with suicides on. Her taking the bleed damage from suicides would put a degen on him..but for how long. Sorta running outta options. Kabam screwed the pooch on this one. Need to cancel AQ imo and reimburse everyone for the mass amounts of revives and health potions they've had to use.

I don't necessarily think they need to reimburse people for revives and potions since they just sent out a compensation package with those things, but I do agree that AQ should be canceled and that should be compensated for. This is just absolutely ridiculous. You can't block Torch because you'll die from chip damage but you also can't dex him because he'll regen like crazy. It's an insane no-win situation.

I used Void and Omega Red. It is stupid hard. With Void I got a solo, but with 2 seconds left on the timer and I got lucky he didn’t throw a special 1 under 15 seconds or I would’ve died. The buffet needs to be 5% or just removed.

The guy in my alliance uses quake but with the health pool it easy to time out, I think fury and AA would do a good job if bleed was on and there would be a lot of options if they took buffet off

I would think quake wouldn't work ... she'd keep triggering dex/evade giving him 15% health . .which I doubt quake can overcome ..

other quake playstyle is to block .. but the chip dmg would kill her, no ?

I got him down with my r3 Apocalypse eventually, but it was still really hard.

But your Psylocke suggestion reminded me of my own idea of using Punisher 2099. I've bumped us down to Map 4 for the time being since I don't feel like wasting any more resources on Torch in the coming days, but a good power-controlling champ could maybe work.

Most power control have energy attacks in some element of their special and don't have the damage to take him before time out.

Kabam won't change him and the funny thing is, that this torch had such negative feedback last time (my alliance and many others just ran map 4 whenever he was on last time) that doing this to the player base again it's going to make more people step down and then retire.

He is extremely annoying however it is an INSANELY easy void fight

Once you're reversing the healing, he goes down very quickly, i would high recommend 2-3 players bring in a Void. You shouldnt need more than 1, but it's good to have different people with an option to keep the map moving and not being held up by one player

other options - Havok can do the fight, CAIW can get a really good chuck on, a good ghost player can do the fight, and i THINK Cable with Apoc syn could do it as well. There are probably others

But ultimately, this is a fight made for Void.
Get each BG to bring a couple of void's and you should be fine.

Nocko, this would be an option previously... But day 2 torch is now a 5.65 6 star, has 320k health and 15k attack, without nodes.

If it was the old 160k health torch, with 8k attack, it works. But just the chip damage on blocks makes this rubbish..

Lastly, war is on. So most voids, apocs and havoks are on defence ;-)

Yes..would have to agree. If you block 3-4 sp1s of HT then you're dead.
