Are defender kills ever coming back

As per title. Despite the changes aw still remains tedious and win/lose is determined by diversity and defender rating at tier 5+.

There’s no real strategy other than stick decent mini bosses in.
It’s clearly to get players upgrading champs they wouldn’t otherwise, to keep the cash flowing into kabams coffers, that’s no news, but surely you can at least bring back defender kills to stop this being such a tedious event now?

How can you guys (kabam) seriously think aw is currently good? If you do, please explain

They have to come back. We're in a war now (tier 1, similar ally total rating) and the other team has a lot of guys with suicides on. So their defender rating will be crazy. They 100% it, we're 95% with 2 boss kills and could easily 100% it, but there's no point. We have almost double their kills (121 v 66), but they don't count. We would lose by ~100 points, which is ridiculous.
Skill doesn't matter, only spending. On boosts, on masteries changing them every war, on new high rated champs. This is silly and the latest node "boost up" didn't do anything to discourage 100%-ing. Wars are still being decided by defender rating, now that everyone is at 150 diversity. 10-20 points losses, sometimes even less than that, and it's just ridiculous. Make SKILL matter again.
