    The THIRSTING BLADE one is a reference to an incredible DnD live play show called Dimension 20. It’s from the second season of their Unsleeping City campaign. The idea of that campaign is if there was overlap between magical DnD world and the real world, and it’s set it New York City, the character who says that line is like the stereotypical Mall Goth who becomes a DnD Paladin. Extremely funny, extremely good. I know you can find the first season for free on YouTube, along with a bunch of their other campaigns. Cannot speak highly enough of the show.
