Who to rank 3?

These are my options for a rank 3 right now, I’m really thinking of just saving it until I get someone I really would like at rank 3. But any advice/opinions would be very welcomed.

Claire, warlock, storm X, and CGR are all already rank 3, I thought it was obvious since their PI was pretty high and they didn’t have a blue arrow indicating the “rank up” option active.

Why do people love prof x so much? I get that he can dish out a lot of damage and counter miss, evade, and reverse controls but besides that why do so many people say he’s one of the best champs in the game??

I’ve been thinking about it, I’ve been using him for fun but if it’s not the right match up were he can gain cosmic power from being immune to nullifies or poisons then his damage is very underwhelming when not in cosmic mode. I might choose IHulk or miles morales over him if I awaken miles soon.

I have my 6* at rank 2 only because I run suicides 24/7 and built my roster around that otherwise he'd be at r3 already. He's worth the rank up for all the reasons above.

Not sure why people don’t realize who on your roster is already rank 3. I suggest taking up either CMM or venom. Whoever you enjoy more and will use more. I’d also like to throw gambit into the equation. I’ve got him at rank 3 because I enjoy playing him and I think he’s a lot of fun. He’s also got a lot of utility as a horseman so if you have apoc I suggest looking into him.

I told myself I’d rank 3 Gambit once awakened because he gets a pretty good increase in damage when awakened, at this point I only use him for things like invade when I need that perfect block every time as a horseman, he’s already bleed immune without horseman as well so right now it kinda sucks to trade in all your perfect blocks just for some actual damage and the combat power rate reduce when stunned is very nice as well.

Sorcerer and CMM are sooo worthy of R3 (I have both). And coincidentally, my next one will be Storm X (pairs so nicely with Sorcerer).
