Havok vs. Nova (Alliance War Boss) - A great answer for High Ground

High Ground Wars are very challenging. A lot of champions saw their defensive value increase.

One of them is Nova. On the 8th War of Season we found him as a boss.

Some of the best Nova counters are:

▪️Symbiote Supreme

▪️Hercules

▪️Kingpin (node 49 active)

▪️Mephisto.

But I thought in something different.

Nova's attacks are mostly energy damage so that fuels Havok's plasma.

Also, Havok has 52,3% energy resistance, that mitigates High Ground.

With Mutant Power Boost 200% this fight is way easier but you can see even without that he solos the fight

Havok is overall a great champion for High Ground just like Guardian.

    Yeah, I love to find different options on War

    Not everyone has duped Hercules/Spidey 2099 at R3 to crush all the bosses...

    Havok is doing great this Season, we are using him a lot

    Great insight! I have found diablo with both Essence of Null & Distilled Will works perfect for this fight. In general diablo is a great option for High ground, being able to mitigate 70% of the damage with his Distilled Will prefight.

    Exactly who I've been using for Nova bosses. Diablo is great for him, I have a solo recorded that I'll link if you want to check it out @Pedrof6 go to 11:24. Just want to say thanks to Nova for his AI to bounce back and forward and save to an SP3 instead of an Sp2, but Diablo still recovered!

    nice fight and thanks for sharing! Havok was my first r3 so I will always have a soft spot for him, but he's usually on defense for me. Keep up the good work, i've subscribed to your channel before and always enjoy your vids.

    I think Tigra is actually the safest option against nova. His sp1 is really easy to punish and with the playstyle, he will likely throw his sp1 and you'll hardly ever block. I just took him down recently in AW but it wasn't the main boss. But I don't think it would've made a difference b/c once he's in that corner, the fight is basically over:

    But in my alliance no one is brave enough to kill him with Tigra 😅
