Help? Unawakened Cable to R5?

Hello! Just got Apoc as a 6* and took him to r2.
I have a 5* Cable who is unduped and I can rank 5 him soon. My question is, is he worth it unduped?

I also got Colosssus and Prof at r2, as well as r5 AA from the mutant class.

I wouldn’t, maybe a 6* cable unduped to r2. But he won’t outshine aa.

What if I duped him in upcoming time? Would you say he is worth it then?

Personally, I wouldn’t. Again maybe a 6* cable but he won’t be better then aa. He would just serve as synergy for Apoc. I’ve done everything in game and haven’t come across a fight or lane or level where I thought cable is better for this then aa or Apoc.

I understand. That makes a good point. The "problem" that I have is that I try to avoid bringing synergy champs that are not ranked in quests.

Not really. Many better mutants. A dupe at high sig cable can do a lot of power gain and regen and as a horseman it's insane. It's one of those situations where if you've played while cable was bad and got him to sig 120 naturally its worth it.

I wouldn’t use resources on him just because you are ocd over what rank champs have to be.

It may sound bad in my reply, but I meant I am not a very comfortable having a champ that is weaker on my team. If I get ko-d with most of my team, it makes me feel safe to have all the champs on the team ranked up. At least most of the time

I would in a heartbeat. Not only does Cables DOT compete with AA's but his synergy with Apoc benefits both of them. Cables awakened ability is useless as a horseman. You don't need power gain if all of your damage is coming from parry/heavy.

I have done and would do again. There are times, especially war, where you need apoc at full power fast and cable gets that for you.
He is also an excellent DOT counter to many nodes and champs where bleed and poison won’t work but degen does.

By horseman I just meant the increased ability accuracy makes those power gains and regens stack up quickly making him very sustainable.
