Torch vs Electro taking damage?

I just fought Electro with Torch in arena and I was taking damage.
I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the case and that I’ve done that fight in questing before.
Am I misremembering?

    Torch doesn’t counter electro, his attacks are contact, incin isn’t reflected but hits are
