Compensation for gold crystals?

So I opened all of my gold crystals when the gold boost was said to have been live, but apparently it wasn’t, would I be getting compensation because of this or am I just gonna hv to deal with what I got

I don't think there's any easy way to give compensation for it. There's no one fix amount that they can give out, nor can that be calculated as the amount drop is RNG based. So I think you'll have to make do with what you've got. In future crystals you'll have the increased amounts.

I feel like compensation will come out but it will be to every summoner and dont get your hopes up, probably like 100k Gold.

Yet again another example of why you don't rush things with Kabam. Patience goes a hell of a long way. Every time something like this happens it boils down to the exact same thing.

I did open a quick stack right at the time that it was supposed to be live. In my case though, my first thought wasn’t about compensation, but about probably needing an IQ test. Because that wasn’t so smart, lol.

I thought it was live, just that the way it was implemented wasn’t what the community wanted. In that the minimum drop was still the same but the chance to get a higher amount was raised. Such that if you opened a stack of crystals you were able to see an increased amount of gold, it just wasn’t originally implemented with a flat raise the way the people on the forums thought it should be.

That was the issue. In this case, they changed it to what we expected. It wasn't bugged.

I thought the smart way and the way it Luke be introduced was u get 3k normally but with the 30% boost u get 3.9k now but ig not

No, originally they changed the frequency. 15k vs. 50k for example. People understood it to be a flat 30% increase, so they adjusted it accordingly.

You won’t get compensation (at least there’s no logical reason for it) because the expected value of the gold crystals is the same as it was when they initially changed it, all they did now is smooth out the variance

My rule of thumb is, never open anything that you don't immediately need (unless class crystals for ISO). Level up isn't coming for another 2 days, and even if you're not ranking up based on solo event schedule, waiting a day or 2 doesn't kill

what were you thinking is my question. the way the game has been going, you really thought you could trust that something was live as soon as it started? xD i know a few people who mass opened on purpose, like the cav crystals being bought with wrong drop rates, people just want compensation... thatll bite ya in the keister one day expecting too much from kabam these days

Well I mean it said something was going to be released at a certain time and I opened the crystals I had been saving for it just past the time it was meant to be out, I had been saving these crystals for months so is it really unreasonable for me to wonder whether I’ll get compensation for something I saved months for
