Gifting Event Concerns

I have a question that can be helpful to other Summoners:

If I reach Level 40 and become a Conqueror after Dec 20 but before Jan 3, or for more clarification, during the Gifting Event, will I be able to participate in that event from the time I meet the requirements, or I will have to wait until next year's event?

If a Kabam staff can answer this question, that will be helpful.

If your account is created later than 19 November, that rules out gifting eligibility.

In addition the account needs to be in the same alliance, 14 days prior to Dec 20 for alliance rewards.
