Gifting event and level 40

Is it possible to participate in the gifting event when you reach level 40 after it started? All other requirements are meet.

You have to complete Act 4 as well. After you beat the Maestro give it a few minutes then shut the game down and go back in. Your gifting message will appear.

@jschweri Act 4 is completed but I‘m - at the moment - at level 35.
