only one champ for december, so to have an even 24, they threw him in to pair with kraven

I'm trying to understand this. Every hour is a different champ, but the drop rate is the same as usual.
What's the advantage, is there a higher chance to get a 5* of any of the following champ that was in the announcement?

They’re normal cavs/gms, nothing particularly special about them other than a last chance to get someone you haven’t. I’d go with GGC

I think bc he became available as a 6* this year. Not sure why Medusa, Hype, and Iceman aren’t in it though.
