Ægon Sig Ability Broken

I have been using Ægon since he came out and at max sig he is supposed to carry over 75% of his “final combo meter” from one fight to the next. As you can see in the screenshots, that did not happen. At best I am only getting 50% to carry over. Kabam, when can we see a fix for this?

@Zan0 while that is the way it is working currently, that is not how the sig ability reads. Wouldn’t you agree that it should be what the combo meter has on screen as it does say “final combo meter” not the number of hits when the opposing champion is knocked out?

Testing done by many others seems to point out that

1/ the count after the KO appears is not included and
2/ maybe even the hit which result in KO is not included

so just adjust expectation.

@winterthur I understand that is HOW IT IS WORKING, as I did state. I’m arguing the point that the sig ability states one thing while the champ does another thing. If it is really supposed to be the way it works they can quit being lazy with their words and do a simple adjustment or, they can fix the champion if he should operate the way the ability is written.

The game shuts down all mechanics once the champion is dead. That's given. Try doing sp2 with ghost and see if the last two hits crit after the opponent dies

I see. So, you could have explained at the beginning that you already knew, the combo count stopped when KO appears but why don't you state it clearly?

I Was using him in aq.mine was even max sig.he got 90 hits until end of the right but got only 40 as persistent ones

@Real_Madrid_76_2 thank you for sharing your trouble with this too. It’s sad how broken the game has been and to top it off, the developers worry about new content and deals they can sell above fixing the issues. Shame kabam doesn’t address it.

Couple of comments/questions:
1. Do you have a screenshot previously showing it was working differently? I am not sure if you are suggesting it has always been incorrect or if the ability changed.
2. I think the key phrase here is "End of Fight." Only hits up to the end of the fight count towards carryover. Once the opponent is KO'd, the fight is over is it not? I guess what is the argument that a KO'd opponent is not the end of the fight? Are you also going to argue that all nodes/abilities should also continue to be active until an SP is complete? For example - should DOT damage continue to tick until the end of a SP animation even if you get a KO on the first hit?

To my knowledge, nothing else works the way you are suggesting, unless you have some other examples?

@mbgibson you mention “end of fight” while neglecting the rest of the wording, is that to help validate your point? “Final combo meter” is in the sig ability and if you are going to ignore this you should not debate this as 1 piece of a whole does not represent the whole completely. I do not have screenshots from before, I don’t take screenshots all the time and this champion has been out for a long time. When I notice things are wrong or off, I take screenshots for proof rather than my word against another’s to put it simply. Your other comments about nodes and DOT working past a KO have nothing to do with his sig ability and would do nothing to a champ that has lost so they are null and void, bring a better argument next time bud.

Aegon saves 75% of the " final combo meter " AT " end of fight". Both these conditions have to be satisfied. Whatever happens after the end of fight is pure visual and does not affect gameplay or champions.

Tell me,

1)do you think suicides should tick you down after the opponent is killed just because your special animation is longer?

2)Should you still be hit by recoil?

3)Do both champions die if you kill the opponent but some other DOT kills you before the ko screen is visible?

Hoping for constructive answers to all these questions

"At the end of the fight, Ageon adds 10-75% of his final Combo Meter into his Persistent Combo, up to 999 hits total." That is literally how it reads, I'm not ignoring anything. Why would hits apply to the combo after the fight is over? The final combo isn't after a special animation ends, it's at end of fight. If you end a fight with the first hit of Ageon's SP1, the next 5 hits occur AFTER the fight is over.

If you are going to argue that Ageon's signature ability/combo meter should be active until the end of his special animations, then you really cannot ignore the fact that other interactions would also need to be changed to reflect that. I do not know of any nodes/interactions/abilities that are active after a KO and cannot find a reason why Ageon's sig ability should function any different.

I look forward to seeing your responses to @AverageDesi 's questions, as I think they are very relevant to the topic at hand.
