Anyone else think the brackets are kinda lame in the champion vote?

Personally, I think it's kinda lame how each champ is restricted to the brackets. Why are Bullseye and Beta-Ray Bill, 2 highly requested characters, in the same bracket? Same for Hobgoblin and Quicksilver. I know that only 1 champion will win the votes, but it's entirely possible that the 2 most popular champions are in the same bracket. I don't see why they didn't just give us the ballets and let us chose between the 12 champions.

There are definitely ALOT of highly requested champions in one bracket against each other. Hobgoblin will atleast be given some grace Because I'm pretty sure Quicksilver is gonna win the wild card entry. But this is my biggest gripe about this vote, there too many highly requested champions. But only one winner. If like 2 of them could win It would be much better, but having one winner does make me feel a little sour about the selection.

That’s not how the wildcard will work I don’t think. It’s gonna be the highest voted that hasn’t already gone through to the next round. So basically the highest voted champ other than Agatha, QS and BBR.

wildcard is those that did not get through (ie the losers of each bracket) pooled into one group and from there Twitter votes on winner

so basically the most popular character that doesn’t go through wins

imo there are too many fan favorites in this pool, should’ve kept it to lesser known characters/ones that aren’t requested every day

Regardless who wins those 12 will come to the game. May not be this year but it can be next year. The devs work on champions mons ahead of their scheduled release. They already have 2022 planned out and i am guessing they making champion schedule timeline for 2023 as we speak lol

@NOOOOOOOOPEEEEE I agree. There are so many choices to vote on with high potential for creative and powerful kits. Problem is they are just not mainstream popular enough to win.

I don't want popular champs. I want GOOD champs.

An elemental with Torch/Iceman+Hydro-Man/Terrax rock shield/hurricane wind abilities? OP! A Sorcerer Supreme with Ghost Rider's powers? MORE OP! (Bullseye sounds awesome... until he enters the game as basically bootleg DD with an anti-miss mechanic) . 😆

Unfortunately champs like Crystal, Agatha, and Kushala probably won't stand a chance vs Beta Ray Bill and Quicksilver which means they won't enter the game for years.
We know this bcuz Omega Sentinel and the other champs who lost to Hercules are still nowhere to be found.

So yeah. It feels anticlimactic. I do like the in game design of the voting system tho. It forces increased participation.

It’s sad knowing you have to choose only one but at least you get to choose one! As Kabam Miike said to think of it as without the vote, none of these champions would’ve been added this year. Now, at least one will be!!

Personally, BRB & QS should’ve been in the same bracket. Give the other champs a chance to go final 2 lol

Quicksilver, BRB, and Spider-Woman, I believe, have no reason to not be in the game already. They’re huge characters in the comics. It feels crazy that there’s even a chance that none of them make it into the game
this year.

I think it could have been better if they did a ranked choice vote and just took how ever many of the top vote getters they wanted at the end of each voting period and moved those on to the next vote cycle until they picked the winner.

Also, it would have been nice if they could have included a couple examples of some abilities they were considering for each to allow us a little more of an informed vote. I know they aren't taking the time to put together full abilities for all the champs they aren't using but just a couple ideas would be nice. I also know if they made changes to the winner's actual abilities some people would get upset but I think most would understand it was just a preliminary idea to let us decide a little better.
