Why do quest crystals even exist?

Who ever benefits from them?

Why do they exist with such crappy rewards?

What is the most you've ever saved up before opening them?

How disappointed were you when you opened them up?

The most I have saved is 200 and opening them? That's a lot of opening for not much benefit.

You might get lucky with them being upgraded, I popped open about the same amount a couple months ago.

Only worry maybe new ones being separated from saved ones like daily or free ones recently

757, I was going to open them and use the ISO when I rank 4 my 5* SL in a few days and get some extra SA points but I just had a look, you only get 5 points/crystal so it's not even worth it.
I'll rank him with the tech ISO I've got and let the crystals rot

Have about 1k my self, they need an update.

But of course, Kabam wouldn't want us benefitting from it, so they'd most likely start a new stack, so the 1k+ quest crystals you have will be nothing still, now you gotta build up again lol.

They did it to free and daily crystals, so if this thread is even noticed you already know the deal.

Edit: It'd be an uncollected quest crystal, for those who have beat the collector of course.
No reason why a person who put in all that work still gets tier 1-2 iso 8 from those crystals.
A chance at like 5 units is cool, but the chance is so low.

Quest crystals, loyalty crystals and maybe solo crystals/rewards need an "Uncollected" upgrade.

They are (on balance) fairly rubbish for late-game players, but do have a role for beginners, when you are desperate for any resource you can get.

Even for late-game players, there is a small return in Energy (5 pt recharge) and Credits. Open a hundred or so and you'll get at least enough credits for a couple of energy refills.

So better than not having anything, I guess.
