Basic arena is not Basic anymore and it needs more spots

I've been playing this game for 7 years and I remember a time a time where free to play players and casual spenders had a fighting chance to compete and actually get a top champ like Hercules without selling their soul to the devil.we need more spots for the basic arena the way the points are structured its way too much for a basic champ. A basic champ means that the champion went around long enough and the hard-core players either spent in cavs or they really pushed for that champ in the featured arena or they bought the early access bundle and got lucky and got the champ. Hercules going for 100 mil in the basic arena is honestly too much specially when the points for 6*s have dropped down to the same amount as the 5*s. my point in doing this post is to bring awareness to players that this is not ok and it shouldn't be the standard of a mobile video game. balance is everything and top 100 for a basic with the way the points are structured per champ in each fight it should be top 250 not 100 btw this isn't an angry post it's just a discussion bc I feel like no one is talking about this and how free to play and casual spenders are in the downfall.

I saw two guys in another thread speaking without knowing what arena they are talking about. @Crys23 and @Texas_11 ,this is "basic arena". It is different from featured, where a certain number of 6* helps you. Basic, it is equalized. More of using 4* and 5* off cooldown is the best way.
@Texas_11 i saw you say you did 60-70 million with your roster in basic hitting it twice a day? Laughable. That isnt possible in the basic arena, that is a streak of 800 or more.

OP, i disagree we need more spots. 100 spots feels enough. The main problem is the botters and cheaters taking spots. Kabam should clamp it down harder and perma ban these accounts. 7 day bans are doing nothing. We need a bigger deterrent.

@pseudosane I'm with you! and I agree with you however if the points stay the same top 100 isn't enough top 250 should be the number specially like you said there are bots and mercs all over the arena and kabam can't keep up with it so top 250 in my opinion would ease in for everyone that's if kabam doesn't get the cheaters if kabam banned the cheaters and kept up with the bothers and constantly cleaning up the arena then yeah top 100 should be OK but since they can't top 250 is where is at in my opinion 😀🤙.

that would essentially allow more botters and cheaters to get in. maybe some extra grinders would definitely get in, but that isnt a deterrent to cheaters at all.
plus, more 6* basic champs filling the playerbase, which is definitely not what kabam wants.

Dude, you're wrong on soo many levels, I dont know where to begin. First off, running my 4, 5, 6* twice a day, for 3 days gets me over 700 streak, so 800 is not impossible..
2nd, basic arena does need more spots. 150 now, 200 a bit later.
Also, even if 6* score as many points as 5* in the basic, it does help to have as many as possible. R1 6* gets you more points than r3 5*. And people grinding the basic still have tons of 5* r1.
I doubt there are any bots in top100 6* arena. Who'd be dumb enough to run a bot on a 2.5-3mil account and risk getting it banned? They'll just hire a merc.

@Crys23 kabam only bans them for 7 days and they get to keep the champ so for them is a great reward they just have a 7 day break and boom! they are back...trust me there's alot of bots in these arenas specially when is a big boy like Hercules and you have to look at the time you putting in 2 times a day. so if you have a huge roster the question is do u have the time to run all of them to get to that certain score ? and if you don't have time then the question is do u have units to speed up that process? and if you don't well then.... it goes back to time and time is valuable bc the cool down for 6*s are very high compared to the 5*s it's alot of commitment to then at the end get screwed over by the cheaters and the bots .again I am a firm believer that since kabam can't keep up with the legitimacy of the top 100 leaderboard and they won't permanently ban these accounts then just increase the pool to top 250 😀🤷‍♂️.

If you run your whole roster multiple times a day (with suis), it will take 6-8 hours min overall. That, in my opinion, isnt easy. I'm speaking from experience myself, i grind for champs and i do have an expansive roster.
6* basic arena is actually FAR easier to bot. Since your 4* and 5* roster matter MORE than 6* and have lower cooldowns, bots actually feature heavily. the Kingpin arena, there was proof of those with r1 6* getting kingpin twice, just direct bot accounts.
The cutoffs are mainly due to botters and cheats, of course. the basic arena is a completely different beast to 6* featured. doing 600 streak without refreshes and a a bunch of boosts gets you close to 50 million, that is a far cry from doing a hundred million +. 6* rosters dont matter too much in basic arena, your 4* and 5* rosters matter a lot more.

Sorry , I meant featured I get that score. My max score without units for featured is 115m I think. I haven't done it in quite some time , so probably higher.

I did jubilee basic arena and did 87 mil with a single Odin, I didn't grind non stop though.

I hate to say it. Bots or not, that wasn't going to influence the top 100 too much, it rarely does.

I been playing for 7 years as well and the arenas have improved significantly, there was a point where I could pick up all the new 5* by casually grinding and even missing a couple of days.

The arena has improved in the basic , to make it more competitive for causal players.

More importantly ,
Arena is not for casuals if they want to earn a champ like Hercules. I can bet you bottom dollar that most people had your final score in 1-2 days. I would almost argue unless you are hunting units , it's not a casual game mode.

Going forward you should consider how many units this champion is worth and go for that. Old featured arena scores should give you an indication. Bots have nothing to do with your miss. You underestimated and got spanked for it.

We all have had that feeling in our stomachs before, so you will know now. Good luck.

And that basic arena u can put 6mil and get the basic champ and if u wanted the 4*featured you could get him at 20mil? Well.... now is way worse we talking about 120 mil to 200mil for a champ in the featured 200 million! not thousand that's alot of time money and commitment it's a joke honestly.And now the standard for the basic arena will be 100mil for a awesome champion.... why tho? that isn't healthy and will only incentivize players to misbehave. A basic arena should be where the casual spenders and free to play players have a fighting chance! right now the big spenders are dominating the game to a point where there's nothing for everyone else to look foward to it.i respect your opinion but I disagree and listen that's fine not gonna hate on it but the basic arena might as well be called featured featured arena 🤷‍♂️.

The basic arena is for both the 6* and the 5*. Seems your roster isnt ready to tackle all the 6* up for grabs. Gotta know your limitations.
And 5* can still do all available content, especially someone like Herc.

@Crys23 roster size doesn't matter and if after 7 years of playing this game doesn't give me a big enough roster to compete for a basic champ I don't know what else to tell you lol. it goes back to what I said before......time !even with a gigantic roster u need time to run all of them and with the 6*s not giving the usual points combined with the bots and the low amount of spots in the arena it makes nearly impossible to do it when it shouldn't have to be this way but please give me your line ID I'll send it over to u I have the proof that I do have a giant roster just not the time to run all of them 🤷‍♂️.

Rosters are way bigger now you can't compare 4* arenas to 6* arenas. The time commitment remains the same.

The standard for basic arena is no where near 100m. That was for Hercules.

As much as I would love to continue, the fact is , you shouldn't be playing in arena if you don't expect to pick up the champ. I don't think any causal person expects to pick up a champion in arena if they aren't ready to put in the time or $$$

Someone always loses , whales or not. I almost went for herc and would have thrown the Odins at him, but don't have the time.

This has been true as long as the Arenas have been running. More popular Champs are going to pull in more Points. Especially with the amount of Champs people have these days.
