P3, 2BG AW focused alliance LF 2 - dysfunctional family-style alliance

Hello there - if you're reading this, either the headline drew you in, or you're extremely bored; if it's the former, awesome, read on, and if it's the latter...well, might as well see if I can entertain you a bit.

So, first things first, who are we?

Hannibal Lecter's Bar & Grill is a family-style alliance, in the sense that we tend to spend as much time bickering, horsing around and basically having a whale of a time on Line, as we do talking about actual in game stuff. So, family-like, if your family is mostly about bashing each other (in good sports, though).

As for who we are about in game, we're an approximately 50 mil alliance, making our home in plat3 for the past handful of seasons. We regularly run into alliance both 50% and 100% our sizes, so we have a bit of an in-joke about whaling harpoons and giant slayer boots being issued to new members upon joining. Our focus is on AW, and we do take that seriously, but conversely, we run AQ as 665 to reach some 400 mil milestone, and are happy about that.

We primarily run AW 2BG, to allow some flexibility, and to allow people to occasionally take a bit of time off, for such trivial things as getting married, becoming parents, or escaping the pursuit of the law by jetpacking into outer space. We believe that this is, after all, a game - so as long as you can finish your paths in AQ, and when slotted for a war in AW, that you go in with your eyes open and play with the team, we are happy.

As an alliance consisting of adults, and many of us also parents, so we have already gotten our fill of teenage drama in our everyday, so none of that with us. We are open and free-spirited. We aren't particularly focused on political correctness, but I will not allow racism, bigotry or sexism.

Timezone wise, we're about as diverse and disorganized as we are in many other aspects. We've got members from US timezones, Euro, all the way over to Singapore and Australia.
