It's be happy with those, both need work. IF is a meme champ and OG DD has a kit that could fit on the back of a postage stamp.

IF is good with the Shang-chi synergy, but needs to shine on his own. I recently r5d my og DD because of nostalgia (he got me through a lot of content as a duped 4* back in the day) and also because I love the character - if they ever decide to buff him, they better not touch is awakened ability!

They didn't share buffs to not steal any spotlight from Summoner's Choice I guess. I think we will see those buffs after SC ended. ( I think it's unnecessary but they did the exact same thing in cyber weekend. They didn't post any patch notes during the cyber weekend. )

For tv show characters the usually buff them the month the show releases. For example Hawkeye was buffed December. So we’ll get the buff maybe batch or April.

My predictions....CapOG [ as they made some minor changes to his animations this month,which can help KABAM to buff him to a god tier champion] and second is maybe,MoonKnight,although the buff chances for MK are very less.

Kabam Miike has already said they don’t have plans for buffing OG Cap soon

What's the point if he'll take roughly 350-400 hits to do any meaningful fights in endgame content even after investing that much in him

DD has not enough utility to keep up with majority of champs we have rn. Stun, precision, limited evade counter and perfect block are nice, but not nearly enough to make him in any way lucrative

I love Daredevil classic, but damn he does need a buff. If you’ve used him in any realistic content you’ll know he takes ages to finish fights. He’s also missing some utility. The perfect block is ok, but only a nice bonus, the projectile evade is amazing but not enough to be the only thing you have to base a lot around. Lastly, the miss counter is obviously the best in the game - having to do nothing for it.

As for his buff. Im thinking a mechanic that boosts damage when he uses his evade for projectiles. Maybe after using his evade for projectiles he hones his senses more acutely, allowing for guaranteed crits for X seconds. I don’t think any mechanics here should be linked to utility, since not all champions have projectile specials you can evade, making him potentially too situational. It should be a nice damage boost to utilise, but not rely on.

He could also do with a general damage bump, in line with DDHK you could use the righteous wrath passive for that. Let DD classic proc it after intercepting to encourage skilled play (he’s a skilled fighter after all). Another way to boost damage, using furies or cruelty buff/passives would be needed.

For a utility bump he’d need something to bring him in line with other skill champs. You could go the DAAR, debuff shrug off, evade counter route, the classic skill abilities. Or you could throw some lengthy unblockable attacks for countering autoblock/getting openings. Another option is to use cleanse, which is a great new skill mechanic.

Daredevil’s sensory abilities could easily be used to give him an evade counter, sensing when the opponent will evade.

Or something new could be tried. Daredevil is a notably resilient fighter, and a mechanic that used that could be quite cool. I’m thinking that throughout the fight, daredevil could build up a resilience gauge which goes up to 100%. This gauge makes non-damaging debuffs X% less effective. So debuffs like weakness will reduce attack by less, fatigue reduces crit rate by less, power drain will drain less power, a power sting will do less damage, disorient won’t reduce your block proficiency by as much etc. And at 100%, these debuffs will essentially be rage debuffs with no effect allowing you to heal from willpower.

At 100%, you could also give a nice damage boost to encourage going to 100.

Non damaging debuffs like stun and heal block which have binary effects (stunned or not stunned) won’t be affected by this gauge. And there could be a DOT added in as a line on his sig ability too, bleed debuffs do less damage with the gauge or something.

The gauge itself could be increased by anything really, intercepts, stunning opponent, hitting opponent, whatever worked.

I’m really excited for a DD classic buff, I have a sig 176 6* I’m working on R3ing because he’s cool. But he definitely does need a buff, he just doesn’t have the damage to keep up nowadays and even if he did, I’m not sure his utility is there either

I'm sure is taking them this long because they will be buffing 4 champions at the same time, as there were no buffs in January...
I wouldn’t get your hopes up. They took time off for January’s buffs because of the Xmas holidays. I doubt they magically found some time to do those extra buffs this month. Not impossible, but definitely improbable.
If they did, initial reaction would be positive . Then the buffs are relased and if even one is bad then they are blamed for rushing

In other words the exact reaction from last February.

It's pretty clear that they will tell us who is getting buffed when they decide to.

I’ve been relegated to the fact that sometimes we get champs we want and sometimes we don’t.

I always hope that one of the champs is someone I want to get a buff, but honestly I didn’t care about Diablo and now I love him so I kind of have an open mind.

I just want the buffs. Every month is like Kabam Christmas
