Am i missing the keys to playing ICEMAN?

I've been playing Iceman a while now and watched a few YT-videos on how to use him, but i feel like i'm not getting everything out of him.

In fights i mainly fight aggressive, use SP1 and then go for heavy as much as i can. Is there a more effective gameplay to use? Is SP1 and heavy attacks the best option?

That's basically how you use him, get as many frostbite charges on the defender and then heavy for some nice burst damage. If you're looking for beyond god-tier damage you're not gonna find it with iceman, but he does have some nice utility: triple immune, anti evade and sp3 safeguard with ice armor.

You’ve probably been seeing to many outdated videos. Iceman was great a few years ago, but now hes just average

I do think Iceman is underestimated. He has still triple immunities, some SP3 and stun protection, evade counter and a good synergy with HT.

The way to get the most out of him is by timing the sp2 so that the frostbite charges expire during the sp2 animation. The attack increase from the sp2 will increase the damage dealt by the frostbite expiry.
