Mastery recover causing lower hero rating

in Bugs and Known Issues
Recently I have recovered my defence mastery once to change it, but after recovery my all the hero ratings went down. Then immediately I have searched for the best champion mastery setup and done the same, still no change. Again i recovered the pi and again lowered all the hero ratings. I donno why this happening, if any glitch pls rectify orelse suggest the best.

    The masteries change your heroes PI rating. You can look at a site like auntm.ai for a mastery builder tool which also tells you the change in the PI they give. Some masteries give more PI points than others.

    Do keep in mind thou. Outside of arena your PI does not matter. A good build for you is better than a couple more arena points. Unless you are a hardcore grinder. But those points mainly come from the attack masteries.

    I agree your point but now after changing the masteries in defence, pls notice the changes to the hero ratings.

    Yes, I agree precision and cruelty they are game changers. I'll try to unlock those.
    But my hero base rating bfr it was 434, 200 but now 357,599 the diff is almost 76k which I lost.👇

    More seriously though I think you see more of a drastic increase when investing in the better offensive masteries. I see a slight increase in your photos. Is it not as much as your expecting?

    Base hero rating and prestige are not influenced by your mastery setup. They are taken from your champions before masteries are calculated for the PI. Hence the name BASE hero rating.
    So either you miss-remember your old Base hero rating, or there is some kind of bug. I`m afraid it is the first case thou.
