3* Champions have no business being in Grandmaster Crystals. Thronebreakers suffer

There is not Thronebreaker level crystal shard to collect, and it boggles my mind that Cavalier Crystal Shards are practically nonexistent unless you collect them every two weeks or spend $ on deals.
I've been Thronebreaker for over a year now and I'm so sick of collecting these Grandmaster Crystals for a 3* Champion. What player is at Grandmaster level and needs 3* Champions? Why can't Thronebreakers get their own bracket of crystal shards?
