Is Crossbones Worthy of R3?

Been needing another good skill champ to R3, and crossbones seems like my best option. I know he’s insane for long fights, but how good is he with content like act 7 and beyond? Is he worth the R3?

    I’m not sure about r3, but I’d love to awaken and r2 mine. I find him the best counter to electro

    No doubt worth r3. Mine has helped me for 7.1-7.3 exploration and about 70-80% of the time I bring him to war. His utility and damage is just amazing.
