Is war season 31 cancelled or no?

Kabam two days ago said "we will be assessing the situation for the 24 hours following the release and will make the call on whether to cancel the season or not shortly after Attack Phase has commenced." It's been roughly 3.5 hours after attack started and have not seen an update.

    I'm experiencing issue worst than when I was on my iphone. I got the pixel 6 pro. My champ randomly walks forward while holding block, my champ eats combos to the face while holding block also. The fix put a bandaid on something that needed stitches. So no it didn't fix the issue. Just made it bearable

    Since the recent update my game has been seriously lagging, freezing, have dex/parry issues worse then ever. I have an iPhone

    They said they would make a decision after the data from this current war was looked at.

    We are currently preparing a hotfix to address this issue for Android devices, and aim to have this out to all players as early as tomorrow. Because we are moving to address this as quickly as possible and due to the hard to reproduce nature of the issue and how it’s based on “feel”, we cannot be 100% certain it will address the issue in all instances but are feeling quite confident in the fix we have been testing.

    We will be relying on player feedback and data after the release of the Hotfix to determine what actions need to be taken, and while we are not cancelling the Alliance War Season right now, we will be assessing the situation for the 24 hours following the release and will make the call on whether to cancel the season or not shortly after Attack Phase has commenced.

    Regardless of if the Season is cancelled or not, in addition to the rewards for the season, Alliances will receive a compensation package based on their Alliance War Seasons Tier.

    You can expect the rewards for the tier you place in to be paid out on the regular pay-out date, with the additional compensation to follow separately through an in-game message at a later date. Summoners will not have to remain in their current Alliance to receive the Compensation but must remain in their Alliance for regular Alliance War Season Rewards.

    The Hotfix addressed the issue for a large majority of the people I've seen report it. I believe the Season is continuing as planned.

    They said they would be assessing the situation. They didn't say they would be announcing anything. Not unless there's a change.

    Perhaps that’s right… many of us interpret “make the call on whether to cancel the season or not” as something that would be communicated rather than something that is an internal decision and not communicated to keep us guessing. But looking back there was not a specific statement made that they would let us know.

    I agree they could’ve communicated better but the hotfix did help a majority of player. And let’s face it, the game is so bug ridden, the whole season could’ve been canceled and the previous ones as well. But it’s not in their best interest to do so, they’d rather give us compensation weekly. At this point, either deal with it or play casually. I, for one, try to enjoy the game for what it is. Far from perfect and not getting any better.

    But none of us can force the game developer to fix things properly. 6 months to fix a game engine, war seasons having issue after issue. It’s now all part of the Kabam experience lmao
