Hercules not working in Cav EQ?

Am I missing something? I am fairly new to having Hercules, so I could be missing something, but in this months Cav EQ, the node should be giving aptitude buffs upon getting the 3 precision buffs on sp2, but in several fights has not. Any insight appreciated!

    The precision is only on the SP1, it’s cruelty on SP2.

    you get true sense and one precision on the sp1, and 2 extra precisions if it's a special intercept. you get one cruelty on the sp2, and 2 extra cruelties if it's a special intercept
