AW tier confusion

I’m just confused with these alliance war tiers. Before the new AW map my alliance was around tier 5 and able to stay around there no problem. We float around 8.5 mil rating. After the new map rolled out we have been losing consistently, yet facing much harder alliances. We fell to tier 9 and have been facing 9 and 10+ mil alliances. Has anyone else experienced this in AW? I just don’t understand why all of a sudden these lesser tiers are much more difficult.

that the same question i am asking... weather tgey change their match making to different log or it is broken and not getting any answer....
wait for sometime once more alliance will come to know about this i tgink

It’s because the system is so messed up that all the top tier teams are switching alliances once they are ranked to high in tier 1. They jump to a tier 3 or 4 alliance and work there way back up. This in turn pushes the former tier 3 and 4 alliances down in a trickle down fashion.

It's because they completely wrecked the war and the tier system, in last war version you had linked nodes as long as you were over what 800 war rating now it's what tier 10 when you get them.

We were in tier 8 then in new set up we dropped down quite a bit and have been fluctuating since that due to unfavorable matcups and high spending allainces and people leaving the alliance for higher or lower ones.

Then you get the shell alliances, then you have people just leaving and gathering all high members then rapidly climb the ranks, hen you have the busted matchup system that can either match you up with a much higher or much lower lower one, or the wealthy ones etc

Not to mention the war is kind of easy and boring now, especially when you get terrible match ups or face an alliance with a high diversity score and rating and beat their bosses but still lose because they beat yours to and win because they're more diverse and higher rated and maybe rich.

We've faced alliances and out defender killed them by a wide margin but lost because of that stuff and spending it's a bit annoying and makes me wish they would try to find a medium ground in between the two versions because this is clearly not working either and detested by lots of players and alliances but we have no choice but to deal with it or not do them and risk losing members.
