I know this is probably only occurring at the top of war ratings so it only affects the top 20 maybe but it needs to be discussed either here or in suggestions…
X+K9 faced KenOB twice
GT40 faced KenOB and TCN twice
ASR faced NewN and KenOB twice
NewN faced ASR and KenOB twice
TCN faced GT40 twice
KenOB faced NewN, ASR, GT40, and X+K9 twice
These are the rematches between 6 of the top 10 alliances for season 31. A total of 12 wars where the matchmaking algorithm thought it was necessary to test whether these alliances deserve to stay in masters, join the top 10, and/or place top 3.
If the algorithm decides that this kind of schedule is what’s needed to place at the top then why doesn’t the algorithm think that you have to face every one of these alliances to be at the top?
Please figure out a way to put an end to rematches. With how many alliances there are there’s zero reason to rematch in a 12 war season. I’m not mad about our war results as I know what I signed up for when competing for top 3. I just wish a season was against 12 different alliances.
