Thing should be poison immune

Hi everyone. New here. Is there a reason that Thing is not poison immune? I don't think that his skin changes like Colossus or Emma Frost. As I understand him, Thing is like a living rock. Thus, you can't poison a rock. Am I missing something? Please be nice 🙂

All Champ immunites are decided by kabam for game balance or how they feel the champ should work. That's what you're missing. There is no reason for a champ to he a certain way just because it is so and so champ

    This.

Although I think they consult Marvel on some matters when first creating a new champ, it's not fully Kabam who does it.

I've heard champ classes and tags are for marvel to have final say since it directly relflects on the champ affiliations. But I don't think kabam cares if King Groot is power drain immune or not

He still has some sort of an immune system. He's been hurt before. Even wore a helmet for a long period of time after a fight with Wolverine. Even just plain old rocks can be positioned in different ways.

You'd be surprised. Marvel is not a company that is free wheeling with their IP's.

I can understand with tags but why does it hurt them anywhere if mephisto gains power from incinerate and not immunity?

Then again, i don't own a multi billion corporation

Yeah, they have say in all of that. Marvel plays it close to the hip. The liberties that Kabam has are all done during the design phase and then Marvel approves the plans.

Kabam did change their minds on Ghost Rider. Hopefully Iceman next.

Well, the reason you can't poison rocks is that they aren't alive. It isn't that there's something about rocks that makes them specifically non-poisonable, it's that being alive is a requirement for being poisonable. Unlike other rocks, the Thing fulfills that requirement.
