Defender Diversity

Hello,

So I’ve been reading multiple different posts over the last few years in lots of different platforms and sites.

I’d just like to know, once and for all, in the current state of war, is diversity counted across all BG’s individually or collectively?

What I mean is, if I place an apocalypse in BG1; and then another in bg2, is that the same amount of points as placing 2 apoc’s in BG1, or does placing them in separate bgs count as unique since they’re not in the same bg?

I’ve seen different answers to this question and I’d just like to have a some clarity on what the definite answer is.

    Each bg it’s unique so you can place one apoc in each one

    When diversity was first introduced they intended to make it across all battlegroups if I remember right, but it has never worked that way and they confirmed early on that it would stay the way it is. We generally have 100% diversity or close to it. It's only for each BG individually. Like @danielmath said, you can have the same boss in each BG and have 100% diversity.

    Oh it definitely worked that way in the beginning. I remember having to make the diversity spreadsheet for my alliance and it gave so many points that deaths didn’t matter, just diversity
    Did it? I knew people started out that way because that was what they said but I thought it didn't actually work that way. How long was it before they changed it? I think by the time my alliance decided to go 100% diverse it was already by battlegroup which is probably why I'm remembering wrong as far as how it worked at the beginning.

    and just an FYI synergies in aw def also dont work, incase that was something else you may be wondering about lol
