Incorrect war compensation

I was in a tier 2 war alliance and left after the season rewards came in but I have been given less compo than the tier 6 alliance that I have joined.

    It's based on the season brackets I'm pretty sure. My ally got gold 1 last season and my compensation was the difference between plat4 and gold 1

    I was plat 3 tier 2 and got less than Gold 1 rewards
