Morningstar in 2022

I have a 6* Morningstar sitting at r1 at sig 40. Is she worthy of R2 or even R3? Is she useful in any endgame content?

She's trash. There are at least 10 mystics who are better than her.

I took her to rank two and played around for a while. Unless you are willing to commit a spot or two for synergies, you’re only gonna love playing her on buff heavy matchups, or after slow ramp up on 3 opponents.

She was my first r3. The trouble I have with her is that I run suicides, and the DoT causes her to have a hard time getting a soul without ending with s3. The alternative is using Nick Fury’s synergy (I use Deadpool X Force) to get rid of the poison debuff.

I essentially only use her in incursions 8, for which she is great. You can swap DPX out once she’s ramped up.

If you don’t run suicides I think she’s worth it. If you do, the hassle of working around the DoT for the soul make her too difficult to ramp up imho.

If they could give her a synergy with a decent champ to become poison immune that would be a great asset to her kit for suicide users. Ideally, though, her sig ability would be reworked to allow her to gain a soul if she’s under 5.

If you do Incursions, and you have other mystics already ranked, then go for it. At 5 souls Mstar is amazing. Getting there can be a disincentive.

My first R2 6* and funnily enough I duped her right after I took her to R2. Honestly she doesn't get too much use nowadays but when my roster wasn't as diverse she had that good utility of nuking down buff heavy opponents and healing as well as having insane block proficiency. She can definitely be useful in some endgame content such as Abyss if you don't have a Doom or Sym Supreme. I'd R2 her if you don't have too many mystics ranked up to a high level

She was my first r3, duped and about 80sigs now, I always use suicides, I like playing her but ramp up is horrible, not any use except incursions, but with 5 souls she almost destroys everything, monthly eq is too short for her ramp up, used her often long roads in act 6
