Free Masteries Delay Compensation

I'm glad to hear the issue has been resolved. However, some players restored masteries when they were still costing currency. Will there be any compensation for this or are we out of luck for being early adopters?

    No, competition probably won't be given unless a week later delay for the current issue and also here is a tip, if a problem in the game is said to be solved and you have knowledge that some peopke are having issues still with it try to wait a bit longer before using the bugged feature and using the currencyyou dont want to spend

    I mean, they could’ve easily checked before undoing their masteries to see if changing them would cost, so I feel like that’s kinda on them. A bummer, and not what should have happened, but it’s not like it was unavoidable or that Kabam really did anything shady.

    I saw that the buttons still had the cost on them so I came to the forums to check for issues.
    Regardless, I think Kabam should let us know in-game when something is not working to avoid this type of situation.
    They can clearly do popups for offers so why not for notices.

    Yeah. Unless I am missing something, you can't tell what costs a mastery assignment will have unless you have points available (though you can see what it takes to unlock a still locked mastery).

    I got bit by this when I recovered Offense masteries to take off Double Edge/Liquid Courage. Just replacing the other masteries and leaving those 8 points free waiting for a fix still cost me over 40 units.

    Personally, I'm just looking to get reimbursed the units (I am not going to sweat 950 gold) from Kabam at some point. It doesn't have to be immediate and I am not fishing for additional compensation. I asked in a bug thread yesterday if we should file a support ticket or wait, but have not had a response yet (and I realize the moderators have been busy with all the BG threads); I'll just go ahead and make a support ticket later today if there is no guidance from Kabam.

    A question please, are the free masteries coming to stay or just for the battlegrounds beta? Because I fought someone who had sucides today on and it was an easy win. I don't think sucides will benefit the game mode though just my opinion so it will be nice if these game mode comes along with free mastery's or mastery 2.0 possibly so as to change them as often as needed.
