Blade going from the “Must have champ” to “yeah but there’s better champs for what he does” shows how hard he fell. He’s not a bad champ now, it’s just that there is much better.

Killmonger should 1000% not be on this list at all.... just my 2 cents.

But it has to be Ghost RIder right? Everyone else still has there value. Blade has definitely gone down the list a bit, but he is still one of the best counters to Mephisto, Magik and Dormammu.

I didn’t have a 5* Blade when it mattered, then took a year off, came back, pulled Blade after I had champs like Nick Fury and Aegon duped, still have Blade sitting at R4 and will probably never R5 him. Someone brought up Ghost Rider and honestly he seems like the better option to rate as the biggest drop off. He’s not a top 15 Mystic and was a must have champ when he came out.

Edit: I’m an idiot, I didn’t see Ghost Rider on the list

Honestly all those arguments about Blade falling off only shine more light on GR being even deeper under him. GR without Blade is pure RNG fiesta, if the main reason he was playable fell off so much then there is no way he is better than Blade.

i'm actually gonna go with medusa. she was known as a top cosmic and the robot killer, but we've gotten a lot more great cosmic champs and magneto has pretty much emerged as the top robot killer

i agree with your point that he still holds up, but not a top 5 skill by any means. would put aegon, nick, shang chi, mole man, falcon, kingpin above him. and you could even argue a few others. he's very helpful and very good at what he does, but top 5 is a stretch

I feel like a lot of Blade's downfall was not being available as a 6* for so long. I don't use my Blade much anymore, but I also don't use that many 5*s anymore. Most people still don't have him as a 6*. Also, his regen isn't as good at low sig, which means that even duped 6* Blades aren't as good. I feel like if someone had a 6* ranked Blade at high sig they would find uses for him. He is obviously not as significant regardless, but I think Ghost Rider has nothing going for him anymore except synergy for unused Blades lol. Blade's downfall has made GR irrelevant.

Moleman is only higher than him bc he's been bugged since his buff. I'd bet his use would drop by at least 25-50% if he lost his true accuracy in frenzy like he should

Killmonger, Voodoo and Void shouldn't be here tbh. They still stay active in my roster when I play AW, AQ, Variant, EQ, SQ and pretty much everything. KM with the indestructible, Voodoo with the power control, Void with the heal reversal always came in clutch for me.

That thing is not even worth consideration, never was😬(all i remember is myself being happy on dupe since he had regen back in 2017 which was useful in clearing quests when luck not on side and eat combo)
