Shang Chi's perfect amazing 10/10 parries and dexes help

Has anybody mastered the art of Shang's perfect parries and dexes for extra chi charges? To me it seems to be random, but I'm sure there's a good way to figure it out. Thanks for any help

    Not sure, but I think you just have to wait an extra few milliseconds, and parry/dex at exactly the moment of impact
