How to make Doctor Strange better

Doctor Strange used to be a really good champion, but then he was changed. Most players feel he was not changed for the better. I think we should change him again. I feel he should have a mechanic like Spider Gwen or the Winter Soldier. Doctor Strange should start the fight in one of his modes, or could be random. When he dodges back and holds block, he should switch his mode. This would make him very good, because then depending on the situation, you could change your mode to help handle the problem. I like Doctor Strange. But this would make every one else like him too, and make him a sought after champion.

    It's pretty clear devs main focus is on new champs. Plus they are EXTREMELY cautious with tweaking champs now - for better or worse lol.

    They still have an unused Illuminati Doc Strange model. They could implement those changes with him if they ever plan to release him.

    I would hate for him to have 2 modes personally. I actually still use him a lot and find him useful. Used him all the way up to 5.2.6 and he’s still going strong. Decent block prof with armour and damage with armour break/fury. Life steal is still useful. You can land 3 combos during that 9 seconds and get a reasonable amount of health back, added power on each hit too. Arguably the best nullifier on the game. Counterspell takes buffs away automatically and reliably, fate seal stops them from triggering/removes all buffs the opponent has at the time and his sp2 can nullify during life steal. All of which contribute to MD giving him lots of specials. The only thing I wish he still had was the strength of his weakness. With 3 stacks you could take 0 damage from third specials, bring it close to that again and he’d be fine imo. Though I still think he’s ok now, with MD you don’t even notice the slower power gain. As a bonus, his damage isn’t reduced by physical resistance whether it’s, passive abilities like red hulk, buffs from nodes or abilities like Luke Cage too. There are far worse champs available than DS and I don’t regret my 5/50 one bit.
