Unbalanced tier champion

After playing so long hours day by day collecting rare 6* shards and forming a crystal. for something more fun useable playable champion in the game and received superior iron man in return which is utterly unusable champion make no sense to use the rare resources.

Disappointed really
All the hours playing for superior iron man which has no potential.

Well it’s part of the game,..I have him 6* duped. I have loads of other 6* champs that only get you 70k points in the arena,..and that’s about their only use.

I spent a week completing 7.4 and hell a lot of time completing act 7 for a LOT of trash pulls. For everyone good pull from act 7 I pulled 4-5 trash champs. I don’t even run arena much so the 70k point argument is a void for me too. It happens. With so many champs in the game it’s bound to happen on the negative side rather than the positive side.

What ever happened to the wish crystal? I think having something like that for 7.4 exploration would have been nice. With 200+ champs in the game, and many players really only looking for 5-15 champs... its hard to get a good champ, and for an achievement like this... you should be guaranteed a good champion.

I might even go so far away as let you get a selector where you can pick a 2015 - 2021 year selector, and then from there, let you pick the champ you want (from those in basic pool I guess).

There was a recent poll sent to some summoners asking for feedback about this type of thing - I've been sent similar ones the past couple of years and always provide feedback in those.

We've all been there so there's some solace that it's not just you. But yeah, it sucks, especially when it happens over and over and over again. No one likes to invest a bunch of time, effort and in some cases money/items to get excited about their crystal reward and then feel instant disappointment when it turns out to be the 6th natural dupe of one of the worst champs in the game and another dud in a string of previous duds.

The amount of champs has grown considerably over the life of this game and that makes the chances of pulling a champ, heck even a champ in a particular class, through RNG extremely small. In the survey, I offered feedback that there need to be more nexus crystals to counter the larger number of champs - at least, possibly as progression milestones when achieving CAV or TB.

For instance, the dual class crystal was a good start, but at CAV/TB, I would like to see those as dual nexus crystal to minimize some of the RNG. We'll still get crystal with 3 terrible champs in them, but at least the odds of 1 being decent or great will improve to some extent. And for end game content (like Act 7.4 exploration) at least 1 of the Nexus could have been a 9 choice version. Players should get rewarded for that type of effort every time; as it is now, some get amazing rewards, even multiple ones, while other ones get terrible ones and sometimes multiple ones.

I really think they should take some of the RNG out of rewards for completing difficult content. Instead of shards or crystals for completing content like 7.4 or Carina challenges they should reward us with the 10 champ class nexus like they did for Abyss.

I can’t think of one pull I’ve been happy with after draining my unit and/or potion stash on difficult content. I got Old Man Logan from Summer of Pain, Beast from the Ægon Carina challenge and Cable and Punisher 2099 (both of whom I had already awakened) from 7.4. I feel for those that got SIM or Cyclops.

It’s so demoralizing to power through this stuff to get junk in return. It would be great if these type of rewards could be a little more choice based after investing time, resources and sometimes cash.

You're absolutely right and I'm sorry to say OP that's the nature of the game. I think it was my sixth or seventh 6* that was actually worth ranking up to R2. There is such a gulf in usefulness in general content between the worst and best champions in the pool, it's not funny. That's why so many players care so much about the buff program.

If there is any consolation OP, it was a bad pull. I've had my fair share and will continue to do so. You'll get some good pulls but more bad ones. That's RNG.
