AQ 9.5 Scoring

With the upcoming changes making Maps 5 and 6 smaller and with less fights, are there going to be any scoring adjustments for these maps? If left as-is, it’s going to force Map 6 groups into 7 when they may not be able to handle it but still want to compete, and make Map 5 groups irrelevant altogether.

Very good point. I as a leader won't personally want my alliance to jump to the next map. But if scoring remaina same with less encounters means less points. That will be a huge problem

We do map 5. We are a 47 million alliance with alliance prestige 10.9k. And though map 6 seems much easier now i personally don't wanna shift to map 6 until absolutely necessary. Most of our players are not 24hrs active. We preferr maps where we can take minibosses nd bosses with 1 or2 linked nodes on. And thats very tough on map6 i guess

“Confirmed no point change”, meaning that the overall amount of points for the Map will remain similar to today.
Or in other words, the points for each fight *WILL* be changed (increased) for Maps 5/6 to accommodate for fewer fights.

Consider ignoring the numbers. You wouldn’t be shifting from map 5 to 6. You’d be shifting from a map with 8 paths per section to 6-6-8.

I'm not a fan of map 5 design and this should help, but 30 minute timers would avoid me staying up so late to take down linked nodes to minibosses versus less fights. So I hope less fights = less movements required for all paths. I'd been happy to just remove the majority of empty movement spots that only increase logins.
