Its all based on the rating. It'll probably even out like war does when it goes live and more play

Roster doesn't always equate to skill. Even if they are skilled, you still have strategy and RNG to go through. You might get dealt the better champs for counters or defenders and leave him stuck with a poor matchup.

Then, even if things are even on strategy, skill, RNG... you now both have to contend with input issues, game crashes, etc.

If nothing else, continue practicing, you'll get there.

I’ve been matched with some beefy opponents and came out on top. Sometimes they die sometimes I just kill their defender faster than they killed mine. I’m TB 11.4K prestige and got matched with an UC player and felt bad. He only had like 2-3 r1 6* the rest for like r3/r4 5* but I give him credit for not forfeiting

This beta battleground matchmakings are a complete joke. I am not even 1 million rating. I matched with 2.7 million rating 13.5k prestige plat 1 ally player

It's not a joke. It's beta and new. It'll take time for it to sort out so that like players will be ranked and playing against others. Like in war. It's still new and everyone is getting in at the same time

I will agree. Saying roster doesn't matter is nor correct here. An extensive roster is key to BG, but skill is also key too. Roster helps provide optimal defenders and attackers, but knowing how to use them and hotnto counter others is important

I will agree. Saying roster doesn't matter is nor correct here. An extensive roster is key to BG, but skill is also key too. Roster helps provide optimal defenders and attackers, but knowing how to use them and hotnto counter others is important

I think people are saying a roster doesn’t matter when matchmaking is concerned, which is 100% correct.

I feel like in the last beta it was less focused on rating and actually took roster into account until you got to around the top 300. I like the challenge but with the node being safeguard, the size of your roster does matter a lot more than masochism which I feel rewards skill more.

Agreed. Though I will say that less developed rosters are suffering heavily because safeguard is quite restricting as a node if you don't have a very developed roster. R1 6*'s work and r3/4 5*'s can work on attack as well but they perform nothing like rank 3 and 4 6* champs unfortunately.
