Bishop or Maw?

Should I use a generic 6* R1-2 gem on Bishop or Maw? Both unduped.

I’m mostly looking at them for battlegrounds, as well as potentially AW defence.

I’ve used bishop a bit offensively, I fairly enjoy him.

I recently pulled Maw, have no experience with him after his latest buff. How good is he offensively? The degen seems like it could scale nicely.

Also, does Maw need his sig to be a good defender?

Bishop’s just barely better on defense but I like Maw a lot more on attack so combined I’d say Maw

Bishop is an annoying defender and a better attacker

I feel like people also underrate how good of an attacker he can be. I’ve often drafted him for my battleground’s defence and ended up using him as an attacker with good success

I ended up going bishop.

I’m pretty surprised by his damage now! Not amazing, but pretty good.

I played 3 bg matches and didn’t get him in my draft though

Maw is actually quite usable now. His passive degens are great at dealing with King groots and his power control is better than it's ever been. Both are super solid defensive and offensive rank ups but bishop certainly shines in the versatility competition
