I reported someone level 51 with a low level roster last beta who had an Abyss collector profile pic. He’s still got his profile pic which leads me to believe 0 action was taken. Didn’t even get any email confirmation from Kabam about my submission.
It’s a huge red flag is someone can Mod their way thru all Abyss paths
However, I can tell you that I report stuff directly to the operations team when I see it, and actions are taken when there is sufficient evidence. These reports do get acted upon.
Regardless…. They don’t remove the abyss profile pic for someone who obviously modded all 5 abyss paths ?? Modder gets to retain that?
Did they even look into it ? I thought they monitored people who do the abyss as is ; seeing an obvious modder retain an abyss reward doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence hence my somewhat rhetorical questions asking “what really happens after” someone’s reported. I’m not expecting an answer but the questions are pretty darn valid IMHO. Makes me question their anti cheating claims.
i've heard people say things like "if they win in under 10 seconds, they're a hacker." but there are cases like @Mukesh5445 where you're facing 4*s or lower and you can defeat them quickly because of the low health pool. but if you're beating a 100k health defender in under 10 seconds, you're just very obviously cheating.
i don't support insta-bans, because there might be some sort of glitch in the system where you could win in 0 seconds or something like that. but it's just unfair to let players like this keep playing until kabam gets around to looking at the report. and as we've seen the support can take a few days, so there are hackers who i'm sure are running wild for a few days until action is taken
