**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

There’s just a lot to keep track of:
No parries
No light attacks
No light attacks into your block
Don’t push him to sp2
Only medium if you have at least a bar of power
The only way to remove energize without buff removal is to get hit by special so try not to push him above 7
I found it best to just do the alternate sp1 ramp up: 100 prowess with 1.9 bars, get 6-7 prowess, block to get another prowess instead of refreshing, then in the next cycle sp1 while under 100 to refresh, then repeat.
Try to solo because: more time in fight, more prowess, more damage, less total time than multi shot.
I have not yet mastered the fight myself but I think I can get it in a couple of days.
Here’s my best attempt:

23 prowess fell off🥲
Just solo’d after listening to four sides of records~45minutes
No boosts added though
Final sp1 did 135k jesus
Trick seemed to be baiting one medium into block then backing off he would throw his heavy which is easy to heavy counter. I only went for sp2 at the beginning and then focused on keeping up prowess
