Can’t interrupt heavy with Special

Anyone having issues not being able to throw a special while charging heavy with Prof X? I sit and repeatedly tap the special button while charging heavy and nothing happens. Just keep charging heavy until defender hits me in the face…

yo cant repeatedly throw specials as the animation has to load his mind energy phase thing, you need to move the character before throwing a special again. for example, charging mind phase to 100% then throwing a sp1, after special is over dash forward toward the enemy then click the special while you are dashing in, closes the distance and interrupts your mind charging animation.

You have to wait until the animation finishes. I’d you don’t have your falter up, there is a small window that the AI can hit you if you don’t hit the button at the right time.

I’d suggest not tapping the special until you see the power bar light up again
