How many points for Summoner Trials?

Just wondering how many points would be recommended to get Rank 1-500 and the points to reach Rank 1%-10%, as this is my first time actually doing arena. Thanks.

I usually get 1-10% anywhere near 2 million. No idea what 1-500 is? Used to get the Champ anywhere near 2 mill, but with virtually endless milestones, no idea. Maybe shoot for 2.5, and see what happens.
