If you believe that then I think it's more of a case that your not at the stage in the game to where you should be for r3ing 6 stars. I have an enormous amount of r3s, no clue how many, but it's a lot. And no, I don't spend on t5c deals and I almost never use glory for t5c as don't really have the need.

So contrary to what you said, glory is not even close to the only or even main way to get champs to r3.
