If you have Apocalypse, I'd go with Cable. My r3 Cable is a freaking beast. I was advised that he could do everything he needed to do at r2 but honestly he's so much better at a higher rank.

If you don't have Apocalypse, I'd probably go with Storm. I haven't tried her out much myself but from what I've seen, she seems amazing after her buff. I'll definitely take her up eventually. Plus, she is part of a ton of great synergies.

If you have Apoc, go Cable. Amazing pair they make.

If you don't have him, go Storm.

I do have Apoc, but at R5 5*

My thing is that Storm can do a lot of damage without Apoc.
