Are you happy with the buffs to Yondu and Deadpool X Force?

What are your thoughts on the buffs to yondu and Deadpool X Force? Out of the two I prefer Yondu way more that prowess removal and passive furies does make him better. As for Deadpool X Force I liked the animations but I feel something is missing from the kit and could have had a bit more to make him slightly more decent. Deadpool X Force feels as though it was designed for beginner level players to lower mid level players he can be fun in variant 8 though thats where I feel I can use him.. As for Yondu he's an option you can use if you don't have a champ who can remove prowess effectively not the top but at a decent place.

I disagree with the animations but i feel the same about the kit. It may be a dumb comparison but just look at Nick Fury. In his second phase he has a stronger bleed than DPX has AFTER the sp3 and the superslap, the balance here is way off and fury has 10x more utility in his kit and synergies aswell.

DPX didnt get anything actually useful and nearly no change to his damage aswell. They 100% put more time into his animations than they did his kit which is extremely dumb since he isnt worth playing so people wont even see the animations unless you fight him, which will also be harder now that he only uses sp2 and his sp2 is just a barage of bullets.

Yondu is just Ok. If you dont have a Nimrod then he might be useful otherwise its nimrod every time.
DPX is bad. He's just not good

Tried Yondu.. meh.
Average damage, very minor utility. If a champ has issues taking down the meatbag then they are joining the long list of useless buffs.

Yondu matters only to those who don't have Nimrod & desperately need a prowess counter
Or he could be useful against Omega Sentinel
But DPX is an absolute failure, which is a shame coz his animations are so good

2017 has a wide selection of champs that outclass DPXF even without buffs. Sparky, blade, Psylocke, Morningstar, Medusa, gwenpool, archangel etc. I feel it gets the point across better

I prefer pre buff Deadpool because I still had hope I could use him.

Animations wise I’m not a huge fun of his new ones, I don’t know if I prefer his old I kinda just don’t like either.

do we know if xpool is working as intended? there have been some posts and also noticed it my self, that his crit dmg is under 1000 the majority of the time? i understand his dmg comes from bleeds but just want to make sure. my xpool is r3 6* so seeing numbers under 1000 is kind of concerning imo

He hasn't been in 5* crystals till 2 months ago. So no. He is not more likely to be obtained. He's in 6* but that's not something newer players are going to get.

Why are new players getting 5-Stars? We're talking about 2 and 3 Stars, Champs from PHCs and Daily Crystals.

I’m kinda surprised how much hate there is for the DPX buff, is he top of the class? No, there are many many other mutants. Is his play style limited by needing stuns and bleeds? Yes.

But this was a champ with absolutely no utility and carbon copy animations of 3 others champs in the gems. Now he’s unique, fun to use, and has actual utility, I just 2 shot 6.3.1 Medusa with him last night. She readily threw specials and the bleeds were very effective.

Tried him against all or nothing node and he was great, same with diss track. Did all this with an R1 6star.

Are there better champs or more complete kits out there? Yes. But this still remains a very successful buff IMO.

For the content they're using 2*s and 3*s the prebuff will suffice. He could actually deal damage with his sp2 prebuff. I ranked my 4* back then to do content

I get this, but could you maybe explain why his sp2 does no dmg? I love the updates and the animations kill me. He is fun to use and im figuring a good rotation. It just seems his sp2 has no dmg because it was made to be blocked to trigger that power gain.

What job? Keeping Nick Fury company and then softening up bosses? His kit is really lacking. He doesn't have nearly enough damage on those bleeds to justify the effort and although that L2 looks cool, it barely does anything.
I wish I could talk to the buff/rework people and find out why they keep doing this partial effort nonsense and half measures. It's maddening. Every champ shouldn't be an OP world crusher, but this is another wasted month. So many good ideas and mechanics that could be implemented or straight up lifted from other champs and they choose to do this?
For all the actual taunting he does (only 3? 😐) and the attention paid to their increase on chance to throw specials (none), they might as well have been strong Weakness passives or even better a special lockout passive or buff and tie the stronger weakness to his poke bleeds or a long sig Hemorrhage passive.

yet, you updated the sp2 animation to be impossible to be evaded for early game players (and hard for even end gamers as well)

I'm fairly happy with the Yondu buff. I'd have liked a bit more (a longer Fury, or some interesting synergies would do it), but wtf...

DPX I haven't tried out. I kind of like the skipping when fighting him, it's very Ryan Reynolds.

I hope they take a look at his SP2 damage - I wonder has it just been set wrong, like Hawkeye's Sig was at first?

While I agree that no added complexity needed, especially on old champs, your statements come in contrast with the buffs, at least animation wise.
How easy is for a newcomer to deal with Black Panther, DDHK, Storm, Gamora, Deadpool X etc. special animations?
These champs had plain, clean, short animations that were identical to other champs, making it easier to be memorised and be evaded by a new player. These specials aren’t as easy to deal now.
In my opinion, old champs should have generous number updates, rather than more complex abilities and animations, we have newer champs to serve that purpose.
The game is becoming more and more new players hostile.

Angela isn’t complex yet good and useful. Nebula too, you know else Miles, Masacre, Kingpin, Hawkeye, and list goes on. And Deadpool doesn’t have to be complex and still be a good and useful. Being simple doesn’t mean fewer lines in description but how it translates to actual gameplay. You want newer players to master building slap charges? Even veterans don’t wanna do this because it’s risky, a very nice way to get hit. Many of us don’t like what you did with the buff, to us it’s a fail. This is just a response as an excuse to many’s disappointment. You talk about 2 and 3 stars champions, how long do new players use 1-3, even 4 stars champs for? And given how all the earlier Acts are being nerfed how soon till the move on to 5stars and 6stars and start tackling competitive fights and game modes?
I’m just gonna move on if I get to a point where I feel the game isn’t interesting and not happy with it I just stop playing that’s it. Some still playing this game are not chasing after the newest champs and trying to get to the top and stuff. Some are in relaxed alliance, trying to enjoy the game and they spend. Buffs are a big excitement for them as well so keep buffing champs for newer players cos they are available as 2-4 stars.

Firstly, after Act6 massive nerf, there isn’t currently high end content in the game, apart maybe from Carina challenges.
And secondly, those buffs aren’t going to help new players either.
On the other side they will just make their life more difficult with their added abilities and animations complexity.

Unless they MASSIVELY improve a champ's damage and utility, they aren't cracking that ceiling and getting on the end content squad. Breaking into that club is such a rare event that Kabam is so ridiculously scared of doing with reworks, that your typical buff isn't coming within a mile of that. They'd much rather a champ stay suck, than suddenly become all the rage and be considered indispensable for advancement.
Just because a handful of people frame their arguments around Everest content being out of reach, doesn't mean everyone lacks perspective.
Is DPX worthless? No. Would I classify him as valuable now? No. He still sucks, just less and that's mainly because of his animations.
