It was a passive bleed on parry so it didn't trigger bishop abilities.

You don’t “have” to use the charges. Bad design, absolutely. But you can just use a normal counter.

So many complains about that node last time. Yet is back here once again.

There is also a Juggernaut on that quest, same as last time. And there is also an Elsa there, which you need to be careful to bleed her.
