Question on ebb n flow - knockdown

Was wondering if this is how it's suppose to work or it's a bug but never got fixed? I've noticed, and this is even before the update, that sp3 does not turn off protection from ebb n flow knockdown.

Sp3 counts as a knockdown for some nodes/abilities and not for others. Idk why

It counts as a knockdown in AQ though on the node 'right back at it'.
They decide which is which, what they want, When they want, Where they want.

It’s wild to me that you look at the state of the game and a topic like this and think “Kabam chose this intentionally” and not “every interaction in this game may as well be controlled by RNG”

I think the only thing they decided is to leave any unintended interference as it is.
Yes it’s a paradox for sp3 to do not count as a knockdown
It seems like they got bored to code it as such.

On some nodes it does
On others it doesn't
