I wouldn’t invest any resources in those 4*s they may help you a bit in act 5 but you’ll find they become obsolete in a hurry

When you are stuck in Act5, go back and work on 100% the previous Acts, especially Act4. As you move up in level (you are currently 38) you get mastery points. upgrades in your mastery trees will help all your champs for the rest of the game. 100% everything before Act5 (use EXP boost while doing it) and you should be much closer to lvl60. You will be a better player (if you are not auto-fighting everything) and will have earned/won more materials to rank champs and acquire new champs. Don't rush ACT5, your champs are not "there" yet.

When I first started playing, I probably would have been struggling also. You've advanced pretty quickly, and you've probably got out ahead of your roster a bit.
The game is about roster, skill, and content progress. Most players focus on the last one, but to keep moving forward you need to invest in the other two. You need time to build roster, and you need time to sharpen skills. You might be able to get through 5.1, you might not be able to. But one thing is certain: if you keep pushing forward, you will
eventually
hit a wall. Sometimes the best thing to do is to switch your focus from pushing forward in content to building up roster, or improving your gameplay skills.
How good are you really with ProfX? Do you understand how he works? Do you know what his best attack rotations are, how to use his falter, what his charges do? He's your best 5* at the moment, and he's pretty darned good. But is he good in your hands? Maybe read up on him, watch some content creator videos on him. See if his playstyle is something you even like.
At the end of the day, content doesn't tend to get easier. Next you'll be up against the Collector to become Uncollected, and then you'll be dealing with No Retreat in 6.1 to achieve Cavalier. You'll be moving on to the Variants where you will need wider rosters and more advanced skills. If there's a mistake current beginning players make these days, it is seeing this vast game in front of you and trying to race through it without investing time in your own knowledge and skills. If you don't know anything and can't do anything, all speed will do is push you faster into a part of the game you aren't prepared for.
