Any1 experience a problem with the langour node in legendary SQ

I’m doing the legendary SQ on the path with the languor node. Whenever I do a sp I make sure I have something leftover in the power meter so it doesn’t go to zero. But whenever I use a sp it goes to zero no matter how much is in the power meter and it’s instant death. I tried this varying Amt on the power meter like 1.5, 2.5 on the power meter but no matter what it’s go to zero with instant death. With the encroaching stun it either take a hit during the 3 sec stun or take an instant death Is any1 having this happen to them?
