How to not stop playing when rng forces you to?

Well my 6 star roster will say enough about the post I guess. After doing robot carina challenge successfully duped the beyond god tier kamala khan.

Except wags, ht, cable spider gwen and mysterio(i have max 5 star peni) rest aren't good or useful. 5-6 good champs out of 37 is pretty poor. ☹️☹️☹️

Nick isn't duped otherwise great. Science i actually have lots of 5 stars maxed so don't need much.. Rg needs 200 sig so not worth to upgrade plus i have s2099 5 star max so not needed.

In tech class red skull war machine mysterio silver centurion. Only champ i will rank up will be mysterio cause i have peni.I don't like Silver centurion play style, he needs to stay close nearly always.

I am not trolling nor i depend on any tier list. I have in fact quite a lot of underrated champs ranked up as 5 star and use them regularly like hood, karnak, magik

Not a fan of sc playstyle
Misty knight very much lacks utility

Miles i will probably rank up. One of the best unblockable counter. Mr negative too but he is unawakened.

Rest i am not sure of investing resource.

I am can't decide whether to rank some of this decent 6 stars or some amazing 5 stars i have. 6 stars are the future I know. But we can still quite well do contents with 5 star max right?
Like what u will do max hercules 5 star or r3 red goblin?
5 star ultron and hb or 6 star silver centurion and war machine?
Kingpin 5 star or misty night 6 star?
I think even 5 r5 is greater than 6 r3 for the above champs i mentioned.
I will surely upgrade 6stars when i get good ones.. Like i have apoc 5 star max will rank up apoc again if i get 6 star. But the champ has to be that good to deserve both 5 and 6 star rankups.

Thats why i never upgraded my 6 stars. And the waiting is too long to get my 6 star rng good

The main thing is these great 5 stars are even better than those decent 6 stars ranked 3.

Now say I have apoc 5 star max and now i pull apoc 6 star. I will r3 him on any chance u get without even thinking. But for that the champion has to be that good.

I have 37 6 stars and still my 95% roster depends on 5 stars. That to me is terrible rng luck for my 6 star roster.

Try beating that

You ONLY have 37 6 stars. That's a low number. When I had 40 6*s, I still relied on my 5*s to explore content and beat challenges.

I have 120+ 6 stars but I relied on using my 5*s for a long time and I still use a lot of them. I have 35 rank 5 5* to fill my roster.

See, your attitude is all wrong because not only are you preferring to rank your good 5*s, but you then see pulling that same champion as a 6* as bad.

You said you have a 5/65 Spidey 2099 so your 6* is not needed. How will you feel if you rank Kingpin, Apoc, Ultron, Hulkbuster, Hercules, and then pull them as 6*s? Will you be disappointed? Because it seems that way, and then you’ve just reduced the chances of you being happy with those pulls as 6*s because you’ve ranked them as 5*.

I’m not saying don’t rank those 5* champions, but you need to recalibrate the way you think about champion pulls, or accept you’re going to be disappointed. If you can’t do either, then you’ll go from bad to worse and get really disillusioned with the game.

So yeah, I agree that your 5* champs you gave as examples may be more useful than the 6*s you could have as examples. But in that case, you’re just not ready to focus on 6* champions. You haven’t got enough, you haven’t progressed enough yet.

You’re forcing yourself into 6*s too quickly. If your 5/65s are still more useful than the champions you have as 6*s then rank them. But don’t complain that 6*s you pull are too bad, because you don’t need 6*s since you admit your 5/65s are better. You can’t have it both ways. 6*s are the future for sure, but for you, they’re not quite the present yet.

As it stands, there are several champions that you haven’t ranked yet that are worth ranking. You say you ranked Karnak and Hood because you use underrated champions, apply that same logic to 6*s then? Mr Negative and Longshot are worth ranking over a 5* version. Neither need the dupe. Miles is duped, so rank him.

So basically, rank your 5* if they’re better. Rank your 6*s if you’d like. But if you’re in a place in the game where 5* are still important, then don’t be surprised if you’re in the transition period where some 6* won’t be worth ranking to you. Be patient.

You have other good options besides the 3-4 you said you use.

She-hulk and Spiderhwen, Fury even unawakened, S2099, Longshot, iHulk and Mr Neg.

You definitely don’t have much in the way of too champs like Herc, Doom, Kitty — but most players do not.

Your roster is substantially better than mine was at that point. In my first ~40 6*s I had one BGT, Cap IW, but he’s still not duped almost 18 months after pulling him.

As others have said, just be patient and continue leveraging your 5* roster. Eventually your luck will turn around as mind did in my #40-120 6*s.
